As the child of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr an ophthalmologist and Thelma Burnell Henson Michele Carey whose birth name is Michele Lee Henson was born on the 26th of February 1942 in Annapolis, Maryland in the United States of America. While still a teenager she was a pro at the piano, and at age 13 she won an international contest in the Chicago Music Festival. Then, in Fort Collins, Colorado she moved in with her family. She completed the schooling at Fort Collins High School and completed her studies in the year 1960. In order to enhance the chances of her profession, she moved from Colorado to Los Angeles. She began her career in modeling after being signed by the Powers Agency, which is an elite modeling agency. She was a natural actor as well, and Hollywood producers were impressed by her work when she still did modeling. She was the first to make an appearance on TV in the series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Michele who was one of the famous American entertainers first had a profession as a model. She worked with the Powers agency. She then ventured into acting, in 1964, in the show The Man from U.N.C.L.E. It was her role in El Dorado 1966 as the protagonist, Josephine Joey MacDonald who brought the spotlight on her.
